We’re so excited to introduce Sydney, the newest member of the Mindfully Healing team! Sydney brings a warm, compassionate presence and a deep dedication to helping people feel truly seen and supported.
If you’re looking for a therapist who will meet you exactly where you are — with honesty, care, and curiosity — Sydney might be the perfect fit.
Why Sydney Became a Therapist
From a young age, Sydney felt emotions deeply and noticed what others often overlooked. While this sensitivity could feel overwhelming, it also became her greatest strength. It helped her understand just how important it is to feel supported, grounded, and understood.
These early experiences inspired Sydney to create a space where others don’t have to carry their struggles alone — a place to feel safe, steady, and fully accepted.
How Sydney Works
Sydney’s approach to therapy is gentle, steady, and rooted in genuine compassion. She loves helping people move toward lives that feel more authentic, balanced, and meaningful.
She specializes in working with people experiencing anxiety, trauma, chronic illness, relationship challenges, developmental delays, and major life transitions.
Professional Background
Sydney holds a Master’s degree in Counseling and Psychological Services from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota and is currently working toward LPCC licensure.
She uses a holistic, individualized approach, drawing from evidence-based modalities including:
-
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
-
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
-
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
-
Trauma-informed care
Outside the Therapy Room
When she isn’t supporting clients, Sydney finds peace in nature and loves spending time with her affectionate orange cat and playful beagle — daily reminders of connection, presence, and joy.
