Mental health advocates, persons living with a mental illness, families, friends and mental health providers will gather for Mental Health Day at the Capitol on March 16. A Legislative Issues briefing session will be held at the St. Paul Armory from 10:00-11:30, followed by visits to Legislators from 11:30-1:30, and a Rally in the Capitol Rotunda from 1:30-2:30. Free buses will be provided from a number of locations in Greater Minnesota. The event is sponsored by the Mental Health Legislative Network, a coalition of more than 35 organizations working to improve the quality and availability of mental health services in Minnesota. NAMI Minnesota co-chairs the Network.
